Air pollution can have serious consequences for the health of human beings and can also severely affect natural ecosystems. The causes are both natural and human. Forest fires, volcanic eruptions, and wind erosion are some of the natural causes. Fossil-fuel burning and automobiles that combust fuel are some of the human causes. Air pollution can cause diseases such bronchitis, lung cancer, and heart disease. They also kill plants, trees and natural ecosystems. Air pollution can be decreased by using less energy, reducing waste, and switching to a non-polluting renewable form of energy. Also taking your bike to school or walking can stop automobile pollution. If everybody does their part we can change the world!
